Demo Title: Improving the Performance using Noise Recycling for Single Communication Channels
Description: Although noise is often modeled as an independent Gaussian process in communication systems, a single communication channel is typically impacted by temporally correlated noise. While this correlation is usually broken up through interleaving and discarded, we show that it can be exploited to enhance the decoding performance significantly. This demonstration shows that accurate noise estimates obtained from Forward-Error-Correction (FEC) can be recycled and used to improve decoding performance and energy efficiency. Doing so requires only simple receiver-side changes with no sender-side alterations and works for any codebook structure, decoder, and modulation scheme. By exploiting temporal correlation, an accurate continuous noise estimate is obtained from a purely hard-detection scenario that is used to improve the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of subsequent channel pre-decoding. We will use the hard-detection Guessing Random Additive Noise Decoding (GRAND) chip to demonstrate the decoding gains of greater than 2 dB obtained by employing noise recycling in hardware. We further show that significant energy savings of up to 36x and latency reduction of up to 12x can be obtained when GRAND is used for noise recycling.

Demo Title: Unlock the Power of Containers on Cisco Enterprise Portfolio
Description: With the introduction of virtualization, Containers & Application hosting have become an integral and critical part of modern networking environment, for rapid and flexible work-load deployments and also everyday operations. With the recent advancement in Cisco architecture, applications and services can be instantiated as Containers in Cisco products. The session will focus on a brief discussion on container concepts, and highlights how Containers are relevant to Cisco network devices. This session further educates customers on how to instantiate different types of applications in Cisco’s Enterprise portfolio like CSR1000v, ISR4K and CAT9k series devices. All of these network elements share a common architecture with a platform specific data plane and a common control plane. At their core these are based on an open-source Linux architecture. One common aspect to Linux environments is their ability to host both virtual machines (KVM) and Linux Containers (LXC) guest applications in a protected environment.

Demo Title: Interact With Cisco SD-WAN via REST API’s – A POSTMAN Way!!
Description: Cisco SD-WAN vManage API is a REST API interface for controlling, configuring, and monitoring the Cisco devices in an overlay network. The API plays a pivotal role for clients to consume the features provided by vManage. Some of the use cases for vManage API are: Monitoring device status Configuring a device, such as attaching a template to device Querying and aggregating device statistics. In this DEMO Session, you interact with the Cisco SD-WAN REST API from a third-party perspective, using Postman. Postman is a popular REST API client and we will explore the REST API that is exposed with the management component of Cisco SD-WAN, vManage.

Demo Title: Config Generator for Cisco devices – Using Python, Jinja2 & CSV with Validation
Description: Configuring devices from the scratch has always been prone to Human errors. Once we increase the scale or number of devices the chances of such errors are extrapolated & we will never be able to validate it until they are in production and things do not work as they should. This is where we pour in more time and efforts in fixing things, getting on end-less escalation calls. This Demo will be a fun session where we showcase how to generate configs for Cisco Devices by using Python, Jinja2 Templating & CSV. Not only we generate them but also validate them before pushing them on to the devices.

Demo Title: Remote Guided Vehicle – Use case for demonstrating applicability of 5G in Industries
Description: Automated guided vehicles are of great use in industries in different forms like Tuggers, Fork lifters, carts etc. for material handling. Material movement in industries which is currently limited to following a fixed pathway is progressing to a dynamic navigating Autonomous level, with availability of high speed, low latency and highly reliable communications enabled by 5G. Infosys has developed a model of Remote guided vehicle which combines the aspects of material manipulation, logistics, and remote human operation. It is interfaced with the human operator via 5G network that performs high-speed and low latency relay of controls and feedback. The purpose of this use-case is to demonstrate how 5G unlocks new use-cases that can drive Industry 4.0 transformation. The overall solution comprises of RGV/RGV Controllers, Private 5G Network Solution and Infosys Private 5G Management Stack.
